
Quality Manager
Clients
Encourage knowledge of customer needs, requirements, specifications and expectations (explicit and implicit), helping to guide and improve processes to ensure customer satisfaction and increase loyalty.
Act as a liaison and support for customers on quality issues - visits, studies, participation in projects, complaint management, etc...
Lead the rapid response to incidents reported by customers and ensure that the response is of the quality expected by them.
Direction
Contribute to and ensure compliance with the Group's Quality, Safety, Environment and Equal Opportunities policies.
Advise the Factory Management and the rest of the sections on quality issues so that they can always choose the best strategy. Actively participate in the Steering Committees of the factory. Act as a liaison to facilitate coordination and uniformity within the Country/Area.
Verify that the Plant Management knows its obligations in terms of food safety and keep it fully informed about the changes that occur; Promote the implementation of the necessary actions and ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices.
Contribute and promote the correct implementation of the guidelines and documents of the ECO management system throughout the factory. Verify that the documentation of the management system is kept up to date and that it is verified by the various responsible persons in order to ensure its consistency with the policies and with the ECO Management system.
Assume a leading role in the process of defining the Quality Master Plan, the budget and the objectives and, once approved, periodically check their implementation and compliance and act as a liaison for these topics with the Group regarding the objectives.
Provide support to the Factory Management in the preparation and direction of the Quality Committees. Act as secretary in these committees.
Promote and contribute, together with the Plant Management, to the annual evaluation of the management system. Analyze the effectiveness of the system, identify deviations and define the new management plan as established by the existing references (Management evaluation).
Ensure the correct presentation of the reports corresponding to the monthly quality indicators.
Act as a liaison with the external certifying body and internally coordinate auditors' visits.
Receive and analyse, in collaboration with the corresponding committees, the quality suggestions made by the rest of the employees.
Take responsibility of the factory laboratory and ensure that the service is of the proper quality.
Preventive quality
Promote internal audits that are part of the management system. Verify that external certifications (ISO, BRC, AIB ... etc.) .
Encourage and collaborate in the implementation of advanced projects and tools that lead to the continuous improvement of products and processes; automatic in-line controls, statistical process control, AMFE, 6sigma, 5S"s, etc.
Encourage Continuous Improvement by contributing to the detection of needs, driving corrective actions, participating in training and carrying out campaigns to promote the Management System.
Verify that employees and contractors assigned to the plant receive adequate quality training and help maintain the training matrix.
Corrective quality
Collaborate with the sections involved in the analysis and resolution of incidents and complaints. Ensure that the identified corrective actions are implemented.
Encourage the correct use of analysis tools (PDCA, QRQC...) to help ensure that problems do not arise again.
Promote and contribute to the management and treatment of suppliers' non-conformities.
Minimum requirements
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
